The creative impulse was to tell the story of women in STEM from around the world in a poetic and ethnographic style, with a powerful rhythm that also stays true to who they are.
AOI designed and produced a series of short films to inspire everyone to call for greater diversity and inclusion in the workplace, drive the conversation forward, and showcase the success of women.

The film series tells the stories of Marjorie Boles, CIO at Sappi; Chithra Sharma, Chief Commercial for Capital Procurement at Tata Steel; and Tove Thelin Täckdal, Concentrating Plant Manager at Copperstone Resources. Designed to amplify brand awareness and engagement across global markets through captivating storytelling and innovative digital strategies, the campaign was strategically launched for International Women’s Day in 2023 across Europe, South America, North America, Australia, Africa, Middle East, and Asia. It delivered huge results, including 15.6m impressions and 3.5m video views across LinkedIn and YouTube.

In a collaborative effort with ABB’s global team, the campaign messaging and storytelling was developed over months of interviews and meetings with the protagonists. Followed by an in depth film treatment to guide the creative development of the series, end-to-end production planning and execution, and original music and post-production development for the first three films.
19 AOI partnered with a truly international team from Australia, Greece, Austria and India, with shoots taking place in Graz (Austria), Kiruna, (Sweden) and Jamshedpur (India). All three films and their accompanying teaser were shot in all three countries over 20 days.
